PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

“Aroha mai, Aroha atu”
Love received, love given

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
Matthew 22:37

The heart is a sign of love – there is something very special about it.
Our hearts keep us alive.
Jesus’ heart is so full of love that he shares his love and life with everyone. We think of Jesus and his great love for each of us, and we know how much Jesus wants us to help each other.
We reach out to others who are in need and in this way then we do as Jesus asked; to love one another!
As you will have seen in the class seesaw posts, the school App and the flyer taken home by your children, you are welcome to join us for our whole school farewell mass and shared morning tea to bid farewell to Ms. Noetzli. Ms. Noetzli will be embarking on her missionary journey and we invite you to join us in expressing our gratitude and well wishes to her. Mass will begin at 10 AM. Following the mass, a morning tea will be held in the hall.
Thank you to all our whānau who have already bought raffle tickets, there are more tickets available from the school office. We will draw the raffle at our shared morning tea on Friday at 11:30. Proceeds from this raffle will be our ‘Gift/Koha’ to Ms. Noetzli so that she can use it as she sees fit in her work.
Prizes include: Anihana gift package, Ifert Fertilizer, Hegeone Aroma Candle, $50 New World Voucher, Duo Hair Salon Products, Handmade Kete, Coffee Vouchers, Original Framed Artwork by: Ms. Noetzli, Bottles of Wine, Framed ‘portrait’ of Sir Apirana Ngata, The Very Cranky Collection of books by: Nick Bland, Spring bulbs……

And the list grows everyday!

WOW!, extending our congratulations to all our netball, soccer, hockey and rugby players for their remarkable achievements and exemplary performances over the past few weeks. Your commitment, discipline, and perseverance are truly inspiring, and you continue to make our school community immensely proud. We look forward to witnessing more incredible performances from our talented athletes in their upcoming matches. Together, let us continue to encourage and support each other to take risks and demonstrate our school values both on and off the field.
A special thank you to all our younger and older siblings who stand on the sidelines cheering on their brothers/sisters, you are also rockstars!
Parent Teacher Conferences
I encourage all parents to sign up for the upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences. These conferences provide an excellent opportunity for you to meet with your child’s teachers, discuss their progress, and address any concerns you may have. I believe that strong parent-teacher communication is essential for the success of our ākonga/learners.

CATHOLIC CHARACTER

Feast of The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus – 16th June
The Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus is one of the most important feast days in the liturgical calendar of the Roman Catholic Church and is one of the most widely known and well-practiced Catholic devotions. The celebration is associated with the physical heart of Jesus Christ and the wound it received when Jesus was dying on the cross. The heart is seen to symbolise Jesus Christ’s divine love for humanity. Sacred Heart of Jesus, burning with love of us, inclame our hearts with love of Thee.”
