Adorn the bird with feathers and it will fly

"I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well."
Psalm 139:14

Kia Ora whanau,

As we transition into the winter season, Wrap up warm!

In addition to physical well-being, it is essential to nurture your child’s academic growth. You can do this by participating in our upcoming Parent Teacher Child Conferences. This is where you will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into your child's progress and development and if you are a parent in Room 4, you will be able to reflect with Ms. Noetzli and plan forward with Mrs. Hamilton. You are also welcome to view our tamariki learning journey display in the hall.

This is the link to sign up for a conference:

Tena koutou katoa
We hope you all enjoyed your long weekend.
On Tuesday we had our school photos held in the school hall. Your child's code will be sent home with them at a later date.
Today Rooms 5 and 6 went to Napier to go to the museum to learn about Māori Technology and Māori Migration.
On Friday we have our schools cross country on Ms Noetzli’s farm. All parents are welcome to come and support their child/ren.
For the William Pike challenge Ruby and Lilla are putting together little gift packs for the women's refuge so if your child could please bring a little something to donate that would be nice.

What is "The solemnity of the most holy body & blood of Christ, or Corpus Christi?
The Feast of Corpus Christi (Latin for Body of Christ) is a Catholic Latin Rite liturgical solemnity Celebrating the belief in the body and blood of Jesus Christ's Real Presence in the Eucharist.

What does the most holy body and blood of Christ mean?
The Eucharist – the Body and Blood of Christ – is God's great gift of love to us. It is a sacrament of love. In it, we receive the very person of the risen Christ. The Lord nourishes us in the Eucharist, giving us food for our faith journey.

Congratulations to the following students: Justin, Carlos, Elaijah, Emily, Tate, Reyansh, Jilliane, Esta, Jack, Lucy who last week demonstrated their commitment towards becoming more knowledgeable & skilled in their pursuit of learning.

Well done to Adrisa, Ehtzio, Reef, Eva and Shanaya who received certificates the last week.
